Sensor Network to Protect the Elderly

Marjorie Skubic, professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Missouri, worked with other researchers to develop a sensor network that can remotely monitor changes in people's activity patterns and baseline health conditions. The system can alert health professionals to early signs of illness and functional decline.
