University of Cincinnati complex systems scientist Ali Minai says, "A core concern of our research is the desire to 'catch creativity in the act.'" Minai and a team of researchers funded by the National Science Foundation are attempting to develop computer programming that will identify the highly personal subject of creativity by types, kinds and categories.
