Day 1:
 
7:30am Participant Registration
 
7:30 - 8:15 am Breakfast and social time
 
8:15 - 8:35 am Welcome remarks: site directors, dept. heads or VP of research. Deans VPs preferred.
 
8:35 - 9:15 am Kickoff Meeting Goals, Vision and Capabilities of the Center (Site Directors)
 
9:15 - 10:00 am NSF I/UCRC presentation: I/UCRC program director & Center Evaluator
 
10:00 - 10:15 am BREAK
 
10:15 - 12:15 pm Project Presentations (University 1)
Limit to 5 projects; list the project titles and time allocated to each; make sure each project has deliverables for the first year, milestones and proposed budget; LIFE forms must be filled out after each project presentation; LIFE forms must be collected at the end of the session.
 
12:15 - 1:00 pm LUNCH
 
1:00 - 3:00 pm Project Presentations (University 2)
Limit to 5 projects; list the project titles and time allocated to each; make sure each project has deliverables for the first year, milestones and proposed budget; LIFE forms must be filled out after each project presentation; LIFE forms must be collected at the end of the session.

4:30 - 5:15 pm Discussion and agreement on By-Laws, & Election of IAB Chair and Chair-Elect (Secretary)
 
5:15 - 5:30 pm Review of evening and Day 2 activities (Center Director)
 
6:00 pm Technical Forum and Social: Poster Session, Reception, etc!
 
 
Day 2:
 
7:30 - 8:00 am Arrival and Breakfast
 
8:00 - 8:45 am Feedback from the various BREAKOUT SESSIONS/Industry Workshop (Industry moderated)
 
8:45 - 9:45 am LIFE FORM review and Discussion (Industry or Center Evaluator moderated)
 
9:45 - 10:00 am BREAK
 
10:00 - 10:45 am Project review and project recommendations for the Center (IAB)
 
10:45 - 11:15 am Center 5 year Vision & Future IAB Meeting Plans (IAB, Site Directors & NSF)
 
11:15 - 11:45 am NSF Closed Session with Industry (IAB & Center Evaluator)
 
11:45 - 12:00 pm Summary and Closing Remarks (Universities involved)
