Small Business Innovation Research FY-2012 Solicitation

Small Business Technology Transfer FY-2012 Solicitation
The Small Business Technology Transfer program stimulates technological innovation in the private sector by strengthening the role of small business concerns in meeting Federal research and development needs, increasing the commercial application of federally supported research results, and fostering and encouraging participation by socially and economically disadvantaged and women-owned small businesses. The STTR Topic for this solicitation is Enhancing Access to the Radio Spectrum (EARS). Small Business Postdoctoral Research Diversity Fellowship
This program is aimed to help National Science Foundation (NSF) Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) participants by providing them a postdoctoral research fellow to accelerate their innovation research and to broaden participation from underrepresented groups in Small Business Innovation Research. Opportunities for Currently NSF Supported and Self-Sustaining, Graduated Engineering Research Centers to Partner with Small Businesses (ERC & SBIR)
Currently NSF supported and self-sustaining, graduated Engineering Research Centers (ERCs) in the Classes of 1990 and later are eligible to apply to this solicitation ONLY if the proposed research involves participation of an already-established small R&D firm that meets the "small business" eligibility requirements of the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program, or is an active or a "graduated" Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Phase I or Phase II grantee, regardless of the agency providing support. The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program will undergo a series of improvements in the coming months to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the overall program.
