July 1, 2015 - NSF begins search for division director of the Division of Electrical, Communication, and Cyber Systems
NSF announces a nationwide search for the next division director for the Division of Electrical, Communication, and Cyber Systems (ECCS) of the Directorate for Engineering.


March 23, 2015 - NSF appoints deputy division directors for the Division of Engineering Education and Centers and the Division of Industrial Innovation and Partnerships
NSF appointed Don Millard as the deputy division director for the Division of Engineering Education and Centers (EEC) and Graciela Narcho as the deputy division director for the Division of Industrial Innovation and Partnerships (IIP). Millard previously was a program director in the Division of Undergraduate Education in the Directorate for Education and Human Resources, where he also became a key member of the Innovation Corps program. Narcho previously served as the staff associate in IIP and in the Office of the Assistant Director in the Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE).


March 16, 2015 - Barry Johnson to lead NSF Division of Industrial Innovation and Partnerships
NSF selected Barry W. Johnson as division director for the Division of Industrial Innovation and Partnerships (IIP) of the Directorate for Engineering. Johnson has served since 2006 as senior associate dean for the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science, where he is also the L. A. Lacy Distinguished Professor of Engineering.


January 26, 2015 - Deborah Goodings to lead NSF Division of Civil, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Innovation
NSF selected Deborah J. Goodings as division director for the Division of Civil, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Innovation (CMMI) of the Directorate for Engineering. Goodings has served since 2009 as Dewberry Chair Professor of Civil Engineering and Chairman of the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Infrastructure Engineering at George Mason University.
