Fall 2007 SBIR/STTR Phase I Grantees Workshop

September 18, 2007 8:00 AM  to
September 20, 2007 6:00 PM
Hyatt Regency Crystal City - Arlington, VA

All NSF SBIR/STTR Phase I grantees with awards made on July 1, 2007 are required to attend the Phase I Grantees Workshop scheduled to take place from September 18-20, 2007.  STTR grantees are only required to attend first workshop held during their 12 month grant.  The conference program will include a workshop on commercializing new technology, a variety of presentations and discussions led by NSF Program Directors and staff, and opportunities to meet individually with the awardee's NSF Program Director.  The commercialization contractors Dawnbreaker and Development Capital Networks (DCN) will also attend and schedule meetings with interested grantees.

For lodging, please call the hotel's reservations line directly at (703) 418-1234 or (800) 233-1234.  Be sure to state that you are part of the “NSF Grantee Conference” block in order to secure the government per diem rate.  You can also make your reservations online at the secure website the hotel provided for this event at: http://www.crystalcity.hyatt.com/groupbooking/trit2007.

You must book your lodging at the Hyatt by 8/27/07 to receive the conference rate.

All grantees should have received an email with detailed information about registering for the conference and scheduling one-on-one meetings.  If you did not receive this email, or have other questions about registration and attendance, please contact Amanda Morris at the phone or email listed below.
