Fall 2008 SBIR/STTR Phase I Grantees Workshop

September 24, 2008 8:00 AM  to
September 25, 2008 6:00 PM
Holiday Inn Arlington - Arlington, VA

All NSF SBIR/STTR Phase I grantees with awards made on July 1, 2008 are required to attend the Phase I Grantees Workshop scheduled to take place from September 24-25, 2008. STTR grantees are only required to attend the first workshop held during their 12 month grant. The conference program includes a variety of presentations and discussions led by NSF Program Directors and staff and opportunities to meet individually with the awardee's NSF Program Director. The commercialization contractors Dawnbreaker and Development Capital Networks (DCN) will also attend and schedule meetings with interested grantees.

For hotel accommodations, please call the Holiday Inn at (703) 243-9800. Be sure to state that you are part of the "NSF SBIR-STTR Grantee Workshop" in order to secure the government rate. If you want to email your reservation request, please send your arrival and departure date and guarantee credit card to information@hiava.com <mailto:reservations@hiava.com> with "NSF SBIR-STTR Grantee Workshop" as the subject. Hotel reservations must be made before 08/22/08 to receive the government rate. However, the workshop block may fill before this date so please make your reservations as soon as possible. Reservations made after 08/22/08 (or earlier if the block fills) will be subject to the prevailing hotel rates at the time of the request and are subject to availability.

All grantees should have received an email in mid-July with information about registering for the conference and a draft agenda. If you did not receive this email, or have other questions about registration and scheduled events, please contact Amanda Morris at the phone or email below.
