PAESMEM Nomination Preparation and Submission Webinar

About the series

You are invited to a webinar on preparing and submiting PAESMEM nomination materials.  NSF staff will go over the content of the nomination materials, the PAESMEM certification form, the criteria for the review of the nomination, and the instructions for submission of the materials.  There will be an opportunity for questions and answers.

Click here to register for the April 24th PAESMEM webinar.  You will need a computer with internet access and phone to participate.  If you do not have internet access you can still participate in the phone call portion please email PAESMEM@nsf.gov for the call-in information.

PAESMEM awardees receive a $10,000 honorary Presidential award and are invited to participate in recognition events and meetings with STEM policy leaders in Washington, D.C.

Nominations, including self-nominations, are invited for individuals and organizations that have demonstrated at least five years of excellence in mentoring students, trainees, and/or early career scientists and engineers from groups that are underrepresented in STEM, including women, people with disabilities, underrepresented racial and ethnic minorities, as well as individuals from low socio-economic backgrounds and some geographic regions (such as urban and rural regions).

Individuals who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and U.S. organizations in industry, academia, primary and secondary education, military and government, non-profit organizations, and foundations are eligible for the award.
