March 20, 2014 10:30 AM  to
March 20, 2014 11:30 AM
NSF

The Division of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure enables science and engineering research and education by developing, creating, and supporting secure, advanced, global cyberinfrastructure (CI). These goals are achieved through a number of cross-cutting program solicitations. We will provide information on the recently posted solicitation NSF 14-536  "High Performance Computing System Acquisition: Continuing the Building of a More Inclusive Computing Environment for Science and Engineering".

On Thursday 20 March 2014 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM EDT, this webinar will cover the elements of this solicitation, including objectives, award types, and submission requirements.  There will be a question and answer session following the discussion of this program solicitation.  The agenda is as follows (note all times are Eastern Time):

10:30 AM Welcome and overview, Irene Qualters, Acting Division Director, ACI

10:50 AM High Performance Computing System Acquisition: Continuing the Building of a More Inclusive Computing Environment for Science and Engineering, Robert Chadduck/Anita Nikolich/Thomas Russell, Program Directors, ACI

Please register by 8:00 am EDT on Thursday 20 March 2014 athttps://nsf.webex.com/nsf/j.php?ED=245784377&RG=1&UID=1683968362&RT=MiMxMQ%3D%3D

After your registration is accepted, you will receive an email with a URL to join the meeting.  On the day of the webinar, please be sure to join a few minutes before the time to assure connectivity. The webinar system does not establish a voice connection on your computer; instead, your acceptance message will have a toll-free domestic phone number that you will be prompted to call after joining.  If you are going to be calling internationally, please email sharling@nsf.gov to receive an international calling number.  In the event the number of requests exceeds the capacity, some requests may have to be denied.
