Nicholas Carroll will be supported with PREM funds when he starts his Ph.D. program.

One of the six new PREMs links the University of New Mexico, the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, and the Albuquerque Public Schools with the Harvard University Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC). Nicholas Carroll, shown here working at the Harvard MRSEC in the summer of 2006, will be supported by the PREM when he starts a Ph.D. program in chemical engineering this fall at the University of New Mexico.
