Radio Series Highlights Women with Disabilities in Science

Yomara Bedolla is a high school student and a participant in the DO-IT program. DO-IT (Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking and Technology) is a program operated by the University of Washington in Seattle that is designed to broaden the participation of people with disabilities in academic programs and careers. Yomara is featured in one of 10 stories in the "Access to Advancement" radio series, which highlights the opportunities for, and achievements of, women with disabilities in science fields. The story featuring Yomara is entitled, "DO-IT and AccessSTEM Improve Transitions to STEM Education and Careers."
