National Science Foundation Launches Arctic Research Vessel

R/V Sikuliaq will support marine research in the Arctic

NSF/UAF unveil the R/V Sikuliaq, one of the most advanced research vessels in the world. Its home port is Seward, Alaska at the University of Fairbanks' Marine Operations Facility. It departs on its first science mission in early 2014.
