New Techniques Allow Discovery of Smallest Super-Earth Exoplanets

This diagram shows the relative sizes of the five planets as compared to the star. This is a snapshot at a time in the future when all of the planets are close to the star. The black planet is in front of the star; the others are more distant than the star (two are blocked by the star at this point in time). The left two are the two HZ planets.
