Online citizen scientists classify plankton images

Today, an online citizen-science project, Plankton Portal, launches, created by University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences researchers with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Science Foundation and developers at Zooniverse.org.
