A brass tabletop ornament, in the collection of the National Park Service at Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia, commemorates the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Liberty Bell, then housed in the Philadelphia State House (later Independence Hall) would have been rung on July 8, 1776 to announce the first public reading of the Declaration.
