I know one of the items that’s available to you is our short brochure on NSF50 entitled “Where Discoveries Begin.” I hope you’ll pick up a copy while you are here.

It pulls out a number of examples that tell the story of NSF.

They are an interesting mix – Polar research, advanced materials, tissue engineering, highway safety, plant genomics, graduate fellowships, and K-12 programs.

These pull out the full range of what NSF does and the impact it has. We often say NSF is involved in everything from elementary schools to elementary particles – and it’s not always clear which are more complicated.
