Slide Image: Moonset Over Gemini. This 50 second exposure of the Gemini North enclosure was taken as the moon was setting and providing an yellow/orange illumination of the dome. Scorpius can be seen rising on the left and a red light was used to highlight the dome. A Nikon D1X digital camera was used with a 14mm (f/2.8) Nikkor lens was used and a “dark frame” was used to reduce noise from the CCD in the camera.
