The Subcommittee will discuss information from NSF for preparing its report to Congress on mid-scale multi-user instrumentation as required by the America COMPETES Reauthorization Act of 2010.
10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. - Task Force on Unsolicited Mid-Scale Research
The Task Force will discuss its mid-scale research workshop and emerging themes.
10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. - Task Force on Merit Review
The Task Force will review and discuss proposed review criteria.
11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Task Force on Data Policies
The Task Force will discuss recommendations for changes to NSF's policies.

The NSB is the 25-member policymaking body for the National Science Foundation and advisory body to the President and Congress on science and engineering issues. Drawn from universities and industry, and representing a variety of science and engineering disciplines and geographic areas, NSB members are selected for their eminence in research, education, or public service, and records of distinguished service.
