Kevin Rose

Dr. Kevin Rose

Class of 2013

Kevin Rose is an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow in the Directorate for Geosciences at the National Science Foundation. Through his fellowship position, Kevin is working on several initiatives, including the Belmont Forum and the U.S. Global Change Research Program. Prior to the AAAS Science and Technology Fellowship program, Kevin earned degrees in Materials Science and Engineering, International Relations, and Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology. After completing his degrees, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. Kevin has studied carbon cycling and the effects of ultraviolet radiation in aquatic ecosystems and has experience with field research, environmental sensor development, and ecosystem modeling.
