	National Computational Science Alliance (Alliance) The National Computational Science Alliance seeks to build an integrated computational and collaborative environment that will aid researchers in their efforts to solve the world's most pressing and computationally intensive scientific problems. This Grid will link supercomputers, distributed Linux clusters, virtual environments, high-resolution display systems, scientific instruments, large databases and research teams. A part of the Grid, called the Access Grid, will link people together in virtual work sessions, collaborations and workshops.
