Public Comment: The Emerging Topics in Biogeochemical Cycles (ETBC) opportunity has been discontinued. However, proposals aimed at advancing the quantitative and/or mechanistic understanding of biogeochemical cycles over various temporal and/or spatial scales can continue to be submitted to relevant programs in the Geosciences and Biological Sciences Directorates at their regular target or deadline dates. Interdisciplinary proposals bridging the geosciences and biological science disciplines or subdisciplines in the Geosciences Directorate will be co-reviewed by the appropriate programs. Investigators are encouraged to contact the program directors for guidance before the submission.
