MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES (DMS)

Computation is increasingly important in all sciences. Mathematics plays a unique role in providing the development of basic algorithms and techniques that are necessary to carry out computations. Proposals from interdisciplinary teams of mathematical, computer, and general scientists are encouraged in an effort to develop critical computational techniques from algorithm development through implementation. Proposals for innovative computational methods within the mathematical sciences are also encouraged.
