FSS Data Entry Program Instructions

Cost and Person-Hour Estimates

It would be very helpful if your agency could furnish NSF with an estimate of the operational costs incurred and the person-hours expended in the preparation of your annual Federal support survey submission. This information is included in the NSF's General Services Administration clearance requests. Annual operational costs to be estimated include those incurred in data collection, data entering, data processing, and data transmission.

To provide this information, select the Burden option (<Alt>+B or click on the button with the mouse). The "Burden" screen will appear. Move from one field to another simply by pressing the <Tab> key. Once you have entered the requested information, return to the Main Menu by pressing <Alt>+E or clicking on the "Exit" button.
