The fall 1994 Survey of Graduate Students and Postdoctorates in Science and Engineering was guided by J.G. Huckenpöhler, Ph.D., Science Resources Analyst, Division of Science Resources Studies, Science and Engineering Education and Human Resources Program (EDU), National Science Foundation, under the direction of Mary J. Golladay, Ph.D., Program Director, EDU. The National Institutes of Health cosponsored the survey.

The fall 1994 survey was conducted by Quantum Research Corp. (QRC) of Bethesda, MD, under NSF contract number SRS-9423167. QRC staff members who worked on this project were Barbara K.
