The 2007 Survey of Graduate Students and Postdoctorates in Science and Engineering was conducted with funds from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. The survey was conducted by RTI International, under NSF contract number SRS-0629305.

RTI prepared the tables. RTI staff members who made significant contributions include Laura Burns, Kelly Close, Christine Davies, Peter Einaudi, August Gering, Jeniffer Iriondo-Perez, Burton Levine, Dan Pratt, Roxanne Snaauw, Bob Steele, and Shiying Wu.
