 1 The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) will be funded at $20 million, an increase of $2.5 million above the FY 2001 Request, which is in accordance with the FY 2001 Budget Request (page 176). The NHMFL underwent a comprehensive review that resulted in a five year award (FY 2001-2006) that was approved by the National Science Board in October, 2000.
