Letter of Intent, Proposal and Supplement Submission

All Letters of Intent for Site, proposals and supplements must be submitted by the proposing organization's Sponsored Projects Office via FastLane not by the PIs.

For budget preparation, including cost-sharing calculation to include in line M of proposed budget see solicitation.

Letters of Intent and Proposals to be considered by the Directorate for Engineering (ENG), by the Directorate for Geosciences, and in response to the DCL NSF 14-048 for IUCRC in areas related to Engineering Biology and Cellular Biomaufacturing must be submitted to ENG/IIP IUCRC Program (PD Montelli).

Letters of Intent and Proposals to be considered by the Directorate for Computer and Information Science & Engineering (CISE), and in response to the DCL NSF 14-096 for IUCRCs in areas related to Medical Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), the DCL NSF 14-125 for IUCRCs in areas related to understanding the Brain's Structure and Function and the DCL NSF 14-066 in areas relevant to the Forensic Sciences must be submitted to CISE IUCRC Program (PD Perkins).

Supplements should be submitted to the Directorate and Program handling the award.

NSF funding
We remind that the amount of indirect costs for NSF funds should be calculated by applying the current negotiated indirect cost rate(s) to the approved base(s).

Funding by Interagency members via MIPRs/IAAs
University recovery of indirect costs (F&A) shall be limited to 10% of all center membership fees collected from each center member organization, including federal funding received through MIPRs and IAAs. All supplements submitted to request funds transferred to the NSF via MIPRs/IAAS must reflects the 10% F&A in the budget.
