 n celebration of June as World Ocean Month, the U.S. National Science Foun
 dation Division of Ocean Sciences looks forward to the 7th annual "Frontie
 rs in Ocean Sciences Symposium," which highlights NSF-supported scientists
  transforming ocean science.\n\n      \n\n\n\n\n              \n  \nThis y
 ear's symposium will be centered on the recently released National Academi
 es of Science, Engineering and Medicine report, "Forecasting the Ocean: Th
 e 2025-2035 Decade of Ocean Science."The symposium will start with a discu
 ssion with report authors, followed by three groups of short talks by NSF-
 funded scientists for each of the report's key science questions:Ocean and
  Climate: How will the ocean's ability to absorb heat and carbon change?

 n of Ocean Sciences hosted the 7th annual Frontiers in Ocean Sciences Symp
 osium, which highlighted NSF-supported scientists transforming ocean scien
 ce. This year's symposium was centered on the recently released National A
 cademies of Science, Engineering and Medicine report, "Forecasting the Oce
