We all use the radio frequency (RF) spectrum numerous times throughout the day, and that use is increasing as more and more technologies and applications rely on this limited resource. However, every day the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) enacts spectrum violation penalties, which can range anywhere from a few hundred dollars to millions of dollars, because of lack of awareness about the radio regulations (RR).

This hour-long webinar presents basic concepts about RF spectrum management and the RR process, and it shows you factors to consider when selecting the appropriate frequency of operation for your research.
