Information and Intelligent Systems (IIS) Office Hours: CISE Research Infrastructure

About the series

CISE Research Infrastructure hosts:

Ken Whang, Information and Intelligent Systems

Tom Gulbransen, Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure

Deepankar Medhi, Computer and Network Systems

Tatiana “Tanya” Korelsky, Information and Intelligent Systems

During this office hour, the Program Directors will present an overview of NSF cyberinfrastructure opportunities, including: CISE Community Research Infrastructure, Major Research Instrumentation, Mid-scale Research Infrastructure, CloudBank, and ACCESS. The IIS Office Hours are for researchers interested in learning about programs and policies in the Division of Information and Intelligent Systems (IIS) in the Computer and Information Science and Engineering Directorate (CISE) at NSF. Office Hours are designed to give current and potential investigators a window into IIS. Attendance at office hours is voluntary and designed to help investigators gain information that can help them strengthen their proposals. Short summaries will be posted after each session. Sessions will be closed-captioned.

Please note that the office hours are designed to answer questions for a broad range of researchers and not inquiries about specific proposals. If you have follow-up questions regarding this topic, please send an email to Ken Whang at kwhang@nsf.gov .
