DESCRIPTION:The U.S. National Science Foundation Directorate for Mathematic
 al and Physical Sciences (NSF MPS) supports multiple research programs in 
 chemistry. These programs support a national research community engaged in
  fundamental discovery, invention and innovation in the chemical sciences.
 NSF MPS holds quarterly office hours to share information with chemistry r
 esearchers, administrators and others in the U.S. chemistry research commu
 nity.The MPS Chemistry office hour event on May 8 will focus on the NSF Fa
 culty Early Career Development (NSF CAREER) program. The agencywide NSF CA
 REER program supports early-career faculty who have the potential to serve
  as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in
  the mission of their department or organization.This office hour will inc
 lude an overview of the CAREER program, followed by a Q&A session. Please 
 review the solicitation and the FAQs prior to the office hour.Registration
