Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW)
A new GROW Dear Colleague Letter, NSF 16-012, has been released. GROW expands opportunities for U.S. graduate students to engage in international research collaboration. GROW is open to only active awardees of the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). The submission deadline is December 4, 2015. For the upcoming competition, in addition to existing GROW partner countries: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sweden and Switzerland, new opportunities are available with Mexico. Additional partners may be added before the deadline.
AOR Certification Requirement for Proposals
- The AOR is your home institution's Authorized Organizational Representative. GROW applicants should contact their GRFP coordinating official to identify their AOR for GROW proposals.
- The AOR certification form can be found below under "Related URLs"
- The signed AOR certification form must be uploaded with your proposal as a Supplementary Document.

GROW continues research cooperation with counterpart funding organizations in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sweden and Switzerland. In addition, GROW in 2015-2016 introduces new opportunities in Mexico. Additional partners may be added before the deadline. GROW with USAID is not offered in 2015-2016
