Description of Communications Facilities
McMurdo Station
VHF dispatch consoles and a design for VHF architecture modernization was not accomplished.
The implementation for HF Email was halted due to diminishing requirements.
South Pole Station
An IRIDIUM telephone system, integrated into the station's telephone system was cancelled.
Palmer Station
The HF radio replacement has been delayed until the coming winter season.
