In 2017, NSF released a Dear Colleague Letter calling for converging Research Coordination Networks (RCN) and Workshop proposal addressing four Big Ideas: Harnessing the Data Revolution (HDR), The Quantum Leap (QL), Work at the Human-Technology Frontier (HTF), and Navigating the New Arctic (NNA). The projects funded for NNA are described below.
