Model Pulsar

Pulsars are super-dense stars that spin super fast. They shoot beams of electromagnetic radiation from their poles into space, kind of like a cosmic lighthouse. You can make a model of one using items you might already have at home. Here's how!

Materials:

  • Scissors
  • CLay
  • LED lights
  • String
  • Paper clip
  • Button battery - any size
  • Tape
