PCCM Research

Sibel Korkut, a graduate student in chemical engineering at Princeton University, developed a technique for high-speed, low-cost printing of ultra-small lines for possible use in electronics. Her research was performed at the Princeton Center for Complex Materials (PCCM), a National Science Foundation Materials Research Science and Engineering Center.

PCCM is dedicated to pushing the frontiers of complexity in materials science. It brings together over thirty faculty from six departments in the natural sciences and engineering, through three Interdisciplinary Research Groups (IRGs) and several seed projects at the research forefront of both "hard" and "soft" materials science, and the interface between the two. PCCM has an active educational outreach program involving elementary, middle and high schools, as well as a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) and a Research Experience for Teachers (RET) programs.
