Can an ecosystem recover from damage? -- Ask a Scientist


Disease, pollution, development and other factors can damage ecosystems. But once an ecosystem suffers those effects, can it recover? We asked Sean Carroll, molecular biology, genetics and medical genetics professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
