Mantis Cam!

NSF funded researchers at @illinois.edu have developed Mantis Cam. This bio-inspired camera mimics the eyes of the mantis shrimp. Mantis cam enables researchers to see the same polarized light that sea creatures do. The data gather by Mantis Cam is helping researchers better understand how this polarized light might actually help marine mammals navigate. For more information: https://bit.ly/2EmNBhP
