Dbl-family Proteins (Image 2)

A combination surface and computer graphic representation of Cdc42 and Dbs against a backdrop of cells transformed by these proteins.

Cdc42 is a protein involved in regulation of the cell cycle. The protein encoded by this gene is a small GTPase of the Rho-subfamily, which regulates signaling pathways that control diverse cellular functions including cell morphology, migration, endocytosis and cell cycle progression.
