One of the NSF INCLUDES awardees, Marco Hatch of Western Washington University (right; blue shirt), leads a group of youths from the Quileute Nation in an outreach project. Hatch's awarded Design and Development Launch Pilot focuses on involving citizens in the collection, mapping, and interpretation of natural and human-forced phenomena in their local area.
