CARMA will produce millimeter-wave images almost as sharp as Hubble's optical images.

The 15 CARMA antennas are seen here at sunset on the first day they all could be moved under computer control. CARMA is a millimeter wave observatory that is primarily used to study molecules in both the milky way and distant galaxies.
