Swimmers at Public Beaches Show Increased Risk of Exposure to Contagious Staph Bacteria

University of Miami's Oceans and Human Health Center, along with Florida DOH, CDC and EPA, jointly sponsored a first-ever epidemiological study of sub-tropical ocean beaches and presented preliminary findings at the AAAS meeting in Chicago, Ill.
