Stressed Nanomaterials Display Unexpected Movement

Researchers have discovered that, under the right conditions, newly developed nanocrystalline materials exhibit surprising activity in the tiny spaces between the geometric clusters of atoms, called nanocrystals, from which they are made. Full StorySource
