A Scratched Coating Heals Itself

The finding, from teams at Case Western Reserve University, the Adolphe Merkle Institute of the University of Fribourg, and the Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground, are published in the April 21 issue of Nature. The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency that supports fundamental research and education across all fields of science and engineering.
