Researchers Build Better 'Buckypaper'

A new method allows researchers to increase the size of pores between carbon nanotubes after they form the buckypaper, providing more control over the porosity--empty space in the material--which affects its conductivity, and its surface properties. The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency that supports fundamental research and education across all fields of science and engineering.
