DEL Important Announcements

The Documenting Endangered Languages (DEL) program now has two solicitations. This program website and its solicitation NSF 18-580 are for the main DEL program which provides funding opportunities for DEL Senior Research Grants as well as for Fellowships.  

The other solicitation NSF 16-617, Documenting Endangered Languages - Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grants (DEL-DDRIG) provides information for doctoral students and their advisors planning to submit DDRIG proposals to the DEL-DDRIG program.

A new series of DEL Outreach videos freely available on YouTube introduces aspects of the National Science Foundation's Documenting Endangered Languages program. Narrated by experts in the field, the series is intended to help applicants design effective projects and compile competitive proposals.
