Where do stars end and brown dwarfs begin?

Objects that are smaller than stars and unable to ignite and sustain hydrogen fusion in their cores are referred to as brown dwarfs, but differentiating the two hasn't been easy. Now, researchers have found clear observational evidence for the theoretically predicted break between very low mass stars and brown dwarfs. Full Story
