OU next-generation radar deployed in DFW area

University of Oklahoma (OU) next-generation radar was deployed in Addison, Texas, today as part of a new cutting-edge system designed to save lives and property by providing near-surface, fine-scale, rapidly updated information on severe weather. The Dallas-Fort Worth Urban Demonstration Network is a five-year, $10 million joint venture between OU, the University of Massachusetts and Colorado State University. Full Story
