National Science Foundation to present FY 2016 budget request

National Science Foundation (NSF) Director France A. Córdova will present President Obama's fiscal year 2016 NSF budget request to Congress at 3:30 p.m. EST on Monday, Feb. 2, at NSF's headquarters, 4201 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, Va.

Credentialed media will have an opportunity for interviews with Córdova immediately following her presentation. Detailed information about the FY16 budget request will be available on Feb. 2 on NSF's website.

Also following Córdova's presentation, NSF assistant directors and office heads will provide separate programmatic briefings in break-out rooms at NSF.

NSF will webcast the briefing, and media at remote sites will be able to access it in listen-only mode at The webcast video will be posted to later in the day.
