Scripps Florida scientists develop drug discovery approach to predict health impact of endocrine-disruptors

Breast cancer researchers from the Florida campus of The Scripps Research Institute have developed a novel approach for identifying how chemicals in the environment--called environmental estrogens--can produce infertility, abnormal reproductive development, including "precocious puberty," and promote breast cancer.Full Story

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency that supports fundamental research and education across all fields of science and engineering.
